The EVOTROPE is a mobile art contraption with a mission to bring social, environmental and political ideas ut onto the streets.

Inspired by 19th century early animation contraptions like the Zoetrope, the EVOTROPE’S styling and its spinning blades animate with the use of a modern-day device called a strobescope. Created to generate public discourse about the harmful effects of GMOs in our food system, the EVOTROPE is human powered as it meanders thru urban and festival environments, compelling its audience to participate.
