Civic Park

Studio Wilks was hired to create the Branding Package for the Emerald Necklace – a 17-mile network of 15 existing and proposed future parks that stretch from Irwindale to Pico Rivera and integrates the San Gabriel River with the Rio Hondo in order to re-establish a more sustainable river system and offer under-served communities clean, safe parks.

Our interest in ecology, sustainable design and community involvement inspired us to work with the Amigos de los Rios organization.

Our scope included identity and a comprehensive signage program consisting of primary and secondary entrance ID's, directory map, and directional and wayfinding signage.
